Madurai Kamaraj University will sign an MoU with India Post for the
sale at post offices of its applications for courses offered by it
through Distance Education Programme. India Post had been chosen in view
of the vast network provided by it, said A Thanikodi, director of the
Distance Education Programme. However, the proposal had to be

The verdict's out. Former director of distance education of Bangalore
University, B C Mylarappa, has been given the marching orders, complying
with the recent high court verdict which termed his appointment to
professor's post as illegal. The Bangalore University
