If there is one advice which the faculty of the Institute of Distance
Education (IDE) of the University of Madras cannot give their students
it is this: "Don't postpone studying till the last minute of
examinations. " For, the students can't study periodically even if they
want to. It has come to light that study materials were
being delivered to students of some undergraduate and postgraduate
courses as late as May, just when the examinations were around. Worse,
in some cases the students only ended up paying the fees for study
materials that were never delivered or printed.
