MYSORE: The Karnataka State Open University is going the
conventional varsities way. It will introduce a semester
scheme in its P-G programmes from 2010-11 and rework the syllabi. The
varsity is presently offering only the MBA course under the semester
scheme. The choice-based credit system, in practice in traditional
varsities, will also be introduced from the next academic.
"The process to switch over to the semester scheme is on and will be
implemented from this academic," newly appointed V-C K S Rangappa stated
on Wednesday.
