SCOPE OF ONLINE LEARNING IN INDIA

I am a teacher in Varanasi, and I would like to share with you a revolutionary new way of learning – Online Education, or as it is more popularly known, e-learning.
Being a teacher, I have worked with my students constantly to provide them the best help and guidance, to ensure they get very high results. Searching for a means to this end, I discovered e-learning. Many e-learning portals have begun operations in India. This technology is still at a nascent stage here, but it is growing fast, and the way forward is to adopt it as soon as possible. These platforms provide vital services to education, and to students. Competitive exam preparation, career counseling, personality tests, even programs that boost a student’s resume by giving them additional skill sets – the possibilities, and the options, are virtually limitless. Since a vast majority of the Indian public is familiar with the Internet. Hence, e-learning becomes more effective, as it enables young people to start working immediately after graduation, and then continue their higher education online! With pressure to start earning as soon as possible, e-learning provides a win-win solution.
I have also taken online education as the method to help my students, and I chose Class On The Web. It teaches subjects using animations, to enable easy learning of complex concepts of Maths, Science and Social Studies, for classes VI–XII of the CBSE board, as well as the TN Matriculation and State Board. Thanks to the help that students have received from Class On The Web, they have secured brilliant marks, securing their futures. And I’d like to remind the skeptics of online education that the Indian Institute of Management, the Indian Institute of Technology, and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade have all introduced e-learning programs. The reputations of these hallowed institutions precedes themselves, and this should put any doubts to rest, permanently.
The scope of online learning in India, to put it simply, is huge – we have barely scratched the surface right now. I call on all students, academicians, and parents who have not experienced the power of online education to do it now. All it needs is a computer with a good net connection, and I’m sure those are things you already have easy access to!
